What does OET stand for?
It is an acronym for the international English language test that examines the health professionals' ability to communicate and the work-related environment with their counterparts, their patients, and other stakeholders, so it is an exam that is needed for job interviews, residents in hospitals, and other academy make requirements.
The exam is divided into four parts:
Listening, Reading, Writing, and speaking.
There is a remarkable similarity between the methodology used in this exam and the IELTS exam.

The Speaking Part
It consists of two parts, and they are tasks specifically designed for each profession. They are about questions and role-play that examine how the test taker will effectively communicate with the patient and demonstrate Clarity and accuracy while having this role play.

The Writing Part
This part is limited to one task only. It is specific to each profession, which means the doctor will have specific content to be tested. In addition, the nurse will have specific content related to her field. The right thing part duration is 45 minutes.

The Reading Part
The exam consists of three parts, and they are coming to all 12 professions in the medical field. The Reading part mainly focuses on examining whether the test taker can read and understand various types of text related to healthy subjects.
